Solidarity Action with the Kurdish Struggle

Military campaign of the Turkish colonialist regime against the Kurdish people continues. With assistance from neighbouring authoritarian and reactionary regimes and also with the participation of NATO, civilian population is directly being targeted not only with conventional but also chemical weapons, with the purpose of ethnical cleansing of areas with guerrilla activities in an attempt to suffocate the rebellion in Kurdistan.

The brutal offensive against civilians was answered by Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) which inflicted heavy casualties to the Turkish army and by the Turkish revolutionary and progressive movement which organized massive anti-war actions and campaigns. At this moment, the military regime in strengthening repression towards all who fight for a just solution of the conflict. Hundreds are locked up for their political opinions, including journalists. At the same time, the regime is organizing meeting which turn into mass pogroms and lynches against Kurdish population.
