| Mi vjerujemo kako je moguć svijet bez eksploatacije i potlačivanja; kako je moguća ekonomija u kojoj smisao proizvodnje neće biti punjenje privatnih džepova, nego zadovoljenje potreba stanovništva; kako je moguća uprava koju neće voditi profesionalni političari odgovorni kapitalistima, nego sam narod organiziran u svoje plenume. Sve to je moguće, ali promjena neće pasti s neba – za nju se moramo izboriti revolucijom. Takva revolucija - koja će ujediniti najšire mase u borbi za vlastito oslobođenje - je smisao postojanja Crvene akcije. |

The End of Second Wave of University Occupations |

 05.12.09. On yesterday's general assemblies, students decided to end occupations of University in Pula and Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb. Only students in Rijeka will hold occupation until Sunday. With this event, the second wave of student occupations in Croatia has ended. By this, students proved that occupations were not a single event, a spectacle that would ''become a legend'' and be occasionally mentioned. Student control over faculties is a new weapon in class struggle that has a promising future. In two weeks, students controlled six institutions in four cities: University in Pula, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and Faculty of Political Sciences in Zagreb, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Rijeka, Academy of Art in Rijeka, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Split.

The Significance of October Today |

 On seventh of September 1917, an overturn happened that was later called the October revolution. It was called that way because in these days in Russia old Julian calendar was still present, according to which it was still October. That overturn on institutions of transitive government was not a spectacular battle (those battles were jet to come), but it was a revolution because it put soviets - institutions of self-organized people in place of undemocratic transitive government. That act completely changed character of the government and the way of bringing decisions that were of everyone’s importance.

New Wave of University Occupations |

 23.11.09. Six month after the end of University occupations in Croatia, students have begun using radical methods again. This morning students have occupied University in Pula, and in midday, students of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb held general assembly and decided to occupy the faculty using the same model they used in spring. They took control over faculty and stopped all lectures. Students in Rijeka also tried to have general assembly to decide if they are going to occupy faculty but the administration locked the building and hired private security to identify students at the entrance.

 Twenty years ago, when systems that considered themselves to be socialist were being destroyed, it was presented as a liberation from unnatural experiments and as a return towards healthy capitalism which will bring us to final prosperity of the "developed world" after centuries of backwardness. Few noticed that the carriers of this "liberation" were partly the people that held power in former regime together with criminal business elements that gained huge personal profit from this liberation. At that time, when the process of "transition" was beginning, it was concealed what we can see clearly now; that transition only means transiting to capitalism, but not transiting to prosperity.

24.21.2009. Early this morning the flag of Kurdistan was wrapped around the statue of scientist Nikola Tesla which is situated in front of the embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Zagreb. Leaflets were also left in front of the embassy with the following text: Kurds are an old Middle Eastern nation with rich culture and a long history, but they are also a nation without their own state. There are about 25 million Kurds, of which 15 million live on the territory of Turkey, and they make about 20% population of that country. However according to the official ideology of Turkish state (Kemalism) in Turkey there are only Turks, and the Kurd national community does not exist.
